The fact sheets are available for download. Please also note the accompanying paper.

With effect from 1 September 2015, EGNATON e.V. published the fact sheets for the certification of the sustainability of cage cleaning machines. Therefore, objectors should submit their objections to the office by 30 October 2015. The objection hearing occurred on 2 December 2015 at 10:00h at DECHEMA, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 25, Room Carl Bellwinkel, 60864 Frankfurt. We considered only objections if the objector appeared in person at the hearing and the objector (company, institution, person) was named in the complaint.

You should note the following explanatory remarks:

- CERT considered only the following types for the time being:

Rackwasher (Cages, Racks, Bottles) -Usable Chamber size 1100 x 2100 x 2100 mm (WxDxH).

Pass-Through Application (2 doors)

- Following the objection meeting, EGNATON planned a pilot phase to determine the spread of properties of commercially available scrubbers to establish quality classes in various profiles.

- The assessment was initially provisional and was finalised after the pilot phase.

- Profile 4a regulates the technical performance of scrubbers required for approval for certification.

Certification of the sustainability of prints according to EGNATON - CERT / Yellow print

With effect from 1 August 2015, EGNATON e.V. published the fume cupboard fact sheets. EGNATPN asked Objectors to submit their objections to the office by 30 October 2015.

The following explanatory remarks were to be noted:

- We considered the following types of deductions for the time being:

  Height     x     Width     x     Depth

    1.5           x       1.2         x       0.95 m (tabletop)

    2.5           x       1.2         x       0.95 m

    2.7           x       1.8         x       0.95 m

- Following the objection meeting, EGNATON planned a pilot phase to determine the spread of properties of standard market fume cupboards and to establish quality classes in various profiles.

- The assessment was preliminary and will be finalised after the pilot phase.

- Certain threshold values are not yet precisely determined and will be defined in the pilot phase, e.g. 1a, 2a or 2c.

- Fact sheet 4b regulates the technical performance required for certification approval. Accordingly, the applicant must decide to control the air consumption of the fume cupboard to a level necessary to meet the limit values. This air consumption is then relevant to the energy consumption in Profile 2a.

EGNATON CERT for lab relocations

We present EGNATON CERT for lab relocations to the public to allow every interested party to submit objections and change requests. In addition, the fact sheets are available for download. Please also note the accompanying paper.

EGNATON CERT was the first logistics company to certify Geuer International.

Laboratory relocations are only really mastered by a few service providers. The necessary laboratory and transport logistics ensure that sensitive research results, laboratory material and equipment are handled safely and professionally. The transport company must also consider hazardous chemicals and complex laboratory equipment during transport.

With the certification of the logistics company Geuer International, EGNATON CERT has, for the first time, also demonstrated the suitability of the CERT system for sustainability certification services.
