EGNATON's new strategic cooperation with the regional laboratory trade fairs LAB-SUPPLY

In my professional environment, the laboratory world, future sustainable solutions are being researched, and I am convinced that we can only find sustainable products and processes within the framework of sustainable action. Therefore, making research facilities sustainable is of the utmost importance.

Egbert Dittrich, Co-Founder/Deputy General Manager of EGNATON, Bensheim, Germany

EGNATON recognizes the international need and responsibility to connect and engage the conceivable stakeholders, focusing on safe and sustainable laboratories. There is an enormous demand for state-of-the-art information exchange and best practice data. The partnership with global organizations is desirable and necessary here.

Ingo Sternitzke, President of EGNATON e.V., TRESPA, Weert, The Netherlands

I am obliged to work with very tight budgets. At the same time, sustainability issues demand considerations from a broader perspective and not merely in means of investment. Joining Egnaton allows me to enter a European network of experts who deal with these problems daily. Furthermore, it brings me into contact with reference projects outside my university or country and helps me define the proper answers to these questions. Paul Lodewijckx, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium

As technology coordinator, I have provided the impetus for the further development of sustainability in the laboratory sector with various project approaches since EGNATON was founded. Now I am looking for a successor who will commit to continuing this work.

Dr Christoph Heinekamp, dr. heinekamp Labor- und Institutsplanung GmbH, Karlsfeld, Germany

EGNATON is the primary link when it comes to the exchange and networking of specialised suppliers in relation to the modern, future-oriented laboratory. As experts in the safe handling and storage of hazardous substances in the laboratory, we are happy to be part of this community, as we firmly believe in the positive synergies that arise for everyone involved.

Günther Rossdeutscher, Managing Partner asecos GmbH

In my view, a critical competitive advantage of sustainable laboratory buildings is that they better withstand the disruptive demands of global scientific development, resource and funding allocation and government risk management throughout their life cycle. In everyday laboratory life, such an advantage is a necessary precondition for winners.

Dr Peter Neurieder, Managing director of EGNATON e.V., N&N BfS, Nettetal, Germany
